Christmas & Moving??

You may think it can be the perfect disaster duo, but it doesn't have to be.

We know it almost everytime someone decides to move to another house/condo it becomes a massive headache, now adding to this the Holiday season...ugh! Not even think about it (especially if you have kids). I wrote this blog thinking about all those people under these circumstances; I will give you some tips that can help you through this process.

If you had hired a moving company, those guys mainly do everything for you, but if you don't, let's start packing!! Once that you have everything packed, start moving all the basics (beds, bathroom supplies, kitchen supplies and in this season: Christmas tree/ornaments).

* Make sure to have the new house all cleaned and ready to move in. *

We all know how kids get excited about the Christmas tree, Christmas lights and pretty much everything relating to Christmas; that's why it's important to start the decoration in the living room. Verify to have all the couches, accents pillows, side tables, etc. Once that you have all that, you can begin with the decoration (Christmas tree). You even tell your kids to help you decorate.

Having that part of the house done, you can move on to the bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, etc. Have in mind that moving is not a two days thing, it takes time to set everything up.

You took the most important step: buy the house! With Bleu Palms Real Estate we can guide you to choose the best home for you and your family. We take care of everything; you just need to enjoy the ride.
